Dancesport 2012

Dance Ensemble, Tobago’s premier ballroom and latin dance group, staged its annual dancesport competition on Saturday 7th July 2012.

It was indeed a gala event which attracted a large audience jammed in at the Scarborough Secondary school’s auditorium.

The Secretary of Culture The Honorable Mrs. Tracy Davidson Celestine partnered by the President, Louis Charles, opened the competition with a performance of the Waltz, much to the delight of the audience.Those in attendance were pleasured by a sumptuous array of beautifully executed dances.This year’s extravaganza included participation from Trinidad in dancing, judging and spectating.

Next year promises to be bigger and better. The idea is to expand regionally and internationally!
